“Ekklesia”

“Ekklesia”

There is power in agreement in prayer! When we bow in prayer, the angels can stand and do what God has assigned. Our God hears us!
🙏🏾🧎🏾When Paul wrote the following verse he was talking to the Church “ekklesia” at Ephesus. For centuries in both Greek and Roman empires it referred to a secular institution operating in the marketplace in a governmental capacity. When Jesus used the word speaking to Peter (Matthew 16:18) He was stating that He was about to introduce His redemptive agency. The Book of Ephesians was written to the people of Ephesus who operated as a transforming organism, not a static institution.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church (we are the ecclesia- the church) and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
These individuals understood, that God’s steadfast love Never ceases, His mercies are New every morning. There is enough for each day, so lean into the God who is more than enough for everything you need today! Continue to thank God for being Who He is!
So join with others of the “Ekklesia” in your community and agree together in prayer for not only what is needed, but for who is in need!
✊🏾🙏🏾

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Phillipians 1:6
Grace…and Peace,
