A Shepherd Boy
Published on August 20, 2021
Good Morning Family,
Oh, give thanks unto The Lord For He is good! When I read the Psalms I am mindful that one of the authors was a “shepherd boy” who worshipped a Living God! David wrote out of his life experiences. I appreciate his writing because he is authentic! We hear his pain, anger, sorrow, and frustration…and then we hear him say…but The Lord is good, His mercies endure forever.
David teaches me to be honest about where I am in the moment, but know that The Living God can handle my stuff!
Remember today when you feel a certain way…you can run to your closet (private space and place in our heart and mind) to pray or worship in song . When we do this before we run to a friend to complain our words will testify of our authentic pain and then we have a testimony that will say, But God…
Let’s run to our living God today!
