It’s a New Season, It’s a New Day…A fresh anointing flowing my way! This fresh anointing was beginning to flow yesterday at our senior verse retreat. During the last worship session (guest worship leaders – that was “new”) the Spirit of God began to stir the hearts of the young people. It was a blessing to witness many crying out to God!
Today is the last day of the 7th month. 7 is the # of completion and or rest. Genesis tells us God rested on the seventh day. The 8th day there was a whole “new world” .
My desire for this new school year is to allow the Holy Spirit to flow in my life putting to “rest” “the mess” from the past. The door is shut and sealed in the blood to anything or anyone not speaking the life and love of the Spirit of God. The Word tells us: “Test the spirit to see if it is of the Lord. (1 John 4:1a) The test is in our rest! I am choosing to not allow my “peace” to be disturbed. The fruit of God’s Spirit is: first love , joy , and peace.
