1 Peter 1:23

Every day is a new day! Years ago the song writer said : 🎼🎶 “I love you more today than yesterday…but not as much as tomorrow”. This is a picture of growing in love. ❤️ This is the “seed” principle of relationship. A seed is planted in our heart and mind, and we WORK the soil to strengthen it.
When God planted the seed of His Love in our heart ♥️ our role as it was with Adam, is to WORK THE SOIL of the newly established relationship. Many of us get caught up WORKING FOR the one we say we LOVE, rather than cultivating our relationship with Him.
Undistracted time together can be a challenge. We often get busy WORKING in the ministry, SERVING at the church, reading books about growth, leadership and prayer…but we have left our initial soil. I have a dear friend who is a gardener. She spends TIME 👀 looking at, tending to and 💦 watering her 🌱 plants. One day she told me “When you don’t do these things, the plants begin to whither and insects 🐜 etc..can destroy the growth pattern of the plant.
Spend time today looking in your Word 📖, talking to God in Prayer 🙏🏾 and asking him to pull the weeds. Remember…It started in a garden! 😉
