🎶 It’s a New Season, It’s a New Day…A fresh anointing flowing my way🎵! This fresh anointing was beginning to flow yesterday at our senior verse retreat. During the last worship session (guest worship leaders – that was “new”) the Spirit of God began to stir the hearts of the young people. It was a blessing to witness many crying out to God! 🙌🏾
Today is the last day of the 7th month. 7 is the # of completion and or rest. Genesis tells us God rested on the seventh day. The 8th day there was a whole “new world” 🌍.
My desire for this new school year is to allow the Holy Spirit to flow in my life putting to “rest” “the mess” from the past. The door 🚪 is shut and sealed in the blood 🩸 to anything or anyone not speaking the life and love of the Spirit of God. The Word tells us: “Test the spirit to see if it is of the Lord. (1 John 4:1a) The test is in our rest! I am choosing to not allow my “peace” to be disturbed. The fruit of God’s Spirit is: first love ❤️, joy 🙌🏾, and peace.
