Dr. René Rochester

CEO & FOUNDER

Dr. René Rochester lives in Franklin, Tennessee, and is the CEO of PhatStar Learning (Preventive Holistic Adolescent Training: Serving Teens at Risk), a program that helps communities address the needs of at-risk teens by providing intervention strategies and resources.

She teaches at a local elementary school and is a adjunct professor at Fuller Seminary along with other colleges and universities. Rochester has also written several books and is founder of the Kaleo program at KAA (Kids Across America).

Dr. Rochester has taught for our Urban Youth Ministry Certificate program at Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. René and Dr. Annita are consistently described by students as one of the highlights of our coursework. Dr. Rochester has a keen ability to translate research and complicated concepts into practical application. She does a marvelous job helping students connect their daily and life experiences with faith and Scripture.
