It is hard to believe we are at the start of the second half of the year! 🗓️😲 One thing I learned as a coach… at times looking ahead to the second 1/2 of a game was overwhelming because we got off to a difficult start. When the half time buzzer sounded, the players hustled off the court their faces spoke words to me! Defeat, Frustration and sometimes Fear.
Turning to my assistant(s)I would ask them what they saw. While I reflected on “the stat” sheet. each one would shared their
perspective. I would lean in to glean their wisdom, and listen for the Lord’s words of affirmation to shift the atmosphere!
We always have the potential to change the mood and momentum in the second half!
Stop and reflect on the “stats” 🤔 (what did take place?) Seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit whose been given to you by God as an “assistant” and listen to the wisdom of those who know you and love you! ❤️ Pause in prayer 🙏🏾 ask The Lord for his affirmation of change! Read it in His play book 📖 (Bible). Get up and get back in the “game”!
