Genesis 1:27-28 ESV

Good morning,
This morning I woke up 🛌remembering I have the opportunity to do chapel, and my topic is “Walk it Out.” As I thought about the topic several young people from our school came to mind. As I I saw their faces, I asked The Lord why I was seeing them. As I paused and listened. The next Words to enter my mind were: “Nurture them!” So I did what I learned years ago when this happens, and looked up the word and it said:Care for and encourage the growth and development of) This word is actually a part of our school mission statement. It is often quoted! Then I heard In my mind what are you going to do about it? The word YOU was spelled with people! God has raised certain people up for a particular task.

Each of us have a gift call and an anointing to do what He has placed us in a space to do…but the task to nurture will take a collective collaborative effort infused by the power of The Holy Spirit and not just rhetoric and aesthetics. We often talk about something with polished slogans of what we have heard and have learned in our college graduates vocabulary. Sometimes it is spelled out with beautiful pictures on walls or our twitter feed…But God is concerned with us walking 🚶🏾‍♀️ out His vision and purpose in the earth 🌍 and in our case our sphere of influence.
So my brothers and sisters where and with whom has God placed you? Pray together Plan together and be Productive. In the garden GOD HAD GROWN everything, then He placed the first two humans he created in the garden to nurture what He had started. God placed a male and female there,(so none of us are exempt). It is a we thing! Not a me or a my thing!

God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful (productive)and multiply and fill the earth and subdue (overcome, quiet and bring under control) Genesis 1:27-28 ESV
We must NURTURE them!

We are called to “Walk it Out Together” Who are you being productive with?
