Hebrews 4:15-16 NASB

Hebrews 4:15-16 NASB

Meditating on this verse today:
“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.”
Hebrews 4:15-16 NASB
For years I when reading that verse, I focused on how God could sympathize with our “weaknesses” (feebleness)and how we being earthly 🌍 minded can miss it. 😳…
But… God in His mercy and grace does not see it as having something WRONG in our understanding, if our hearts are still soft toward him to LEARN. To be enlightened in His Truth, is the “work” of the Holy Spirit! He is our teacher!!
The God who understands my feebleness in mind and body speaks to the fact He left His throne in Glory and took on humanity (flesh and bones). He too had to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit while in His earth suit.
So… as we return to work after Labor Day, remember, every moment of the day we can Co-labor with the Holy Spirit!
