Luke 18:15-17 ESV

Luke 18:15-17 ESV

A couple of days ago I saw one of my students, and she was wearing a T-shirt that said “Jireh” on the front and “You are enough” on the back. Maverick City Music moment) 🎶🎵”I’ll never be more loved than I am right now…there is nothing I can do to make You proud..Jireh, You are enough!!!” We are so loved ❤️ right right now!
The scripture tells us:Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us.
This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. (Ephesians 1:4-5)
We weren’t there in the beginning to do anything for God to lovingly choose us to be His! ☺️
Jesus, used a teachable moment to demonstrate entrance into His Kingdom. He said it was OK to bring even infants to Him so He could lay His hands on them and bless them. They come in total dependence on the one carrying them, having done nothing but breathe, and eat trusting the one “carrying them to Jesus”. They did nothing to gain entrance in His presence or to earn His love! ❤️ Jireh! You are enough!
(v.15) “Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. (v.16) But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. (v.17) Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
Luke 18:15-17 ESV
Embrace His unconditional ❤️
Peace to you,
Doc
