This week while eating dinner I heard several stories on the news about shootings.
It appears the trend of youth violence is increasing. We must speak 🗣️ grace grace to this mountain of violence in prayer!
I can remember as a “Campfire Girl” in elementary school (not for long 😂) we would sing a song: 🎶Let there be peace on Earth, 🌍 and let it begin with me. 🙋🏽‍♀️
I had no idea, that Our God the creator of the universe was preparing me to become that very thing… a “peace maker”.
Jesus spoke of this with his disciples. The Jewish culture was oppressed. Many young “zealots” were frustrated and angry, with a resolve of violence🗡️ but…Jesus was about to change a nation, and ultimately the world 🌎 one heart ❤️ at a time.
“To all who received him he gave them the right to be called children of God, to those who believed in his name ” John 1:12. WOW it was in the song 🎵 Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me! Ho about you?
“Blessed are the peacemakers,for they will be called sons (children)of God.”
