The Power Of His Holy Spirit – Luke.24.49

I woke up this morning asking the Lord to fill me one more time with the power of His Holy Spirit. Yesterday I returned home from my adventure of being with my friend Becky as she was inducted into the Basketball 
of Fame this past weekend. A lot of excitement and energy, ending with a delayed flight 
on my return getting me in my house and bed 
at 3:00AM. 
The refueling of the Spirit was necessary! I had 80 minute back to back to classes to teach starting at 8:00AM! I am listening to Jesus’ words this morning. He told His disciples: I will ask The Father to send you a Helper…The Holy Spirit to be with you and in you 
Too often we start our day running 
on empty!! Would you drive your car 
on empty?…OK I know some of you keep driving even when the light
is on. But…we are not a cars.
You and I were made in the “image” of God! “God is Spirit” so… if a car needs to be filled with fuel 
so do we. We must be continually “filled with the Holy Spirit”. Be sure to fill up this morning, and through out the day! Don’t run on empty!
