I woke up this morning asking the Lord to fill me one more time with the power of His Holy Spirit. Yesterday I returned home from my adventure of being with my friend Becky as she was inducted into the Basketball 🏀 of Fame this past weekend. A lot of excitement and energy, ending with a delayed flight ✈️ on my return getting me in my house and bed 🛏️ at 3:00AM. 😳
The refueling of the Spirit was necessary! I had 80 minute back to back to classes to teach starting at 8:00AM! I am listening to Jesus’ words this morning. He told His disciples: I will ask The Father to send you a Helper…The Holy Spirit to be with you and in you 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Too often we start our day running 🏃🏾‍♀️ on empty!! Would you drive your car 🚘 on empty?…OK I know some of you keep driving even when the light💡is on. But…we are not a cars.😉 You and I were made in the “image” of God! “God is Spirit” so… if a car needs to be filled with fuel ⛽️ so do we. We must be continually “filled with the Holy Spirit”. Be sure to fill up this morning, and through out the day! Don’t run 🏃🏾‍♀️ on empty!☺️
