Every year at my old church in Texas we would have family picnic 🧺 day! In fact we just had one here local. It would be a time of good eating , laughing and games with the brothers and sisters of the church. It actually depicted a “family reunion.“
All kind booming music 🎼 🎶
Line dancing, dominos and tables of good Food 🥘! You knew who made the “for real Mac and cheese! 🧀 Family stories, laughter, double dutch and sports 🏈 🏀 competition could get pretty intense 🔥 and the DJ would feel the vibe of the moment and change the so to…
“We are family!”
Everyone would “put a pause” on what they were doing grab onto somebody and would be shouting out the lyrics “I got all my sisters (or brothers) with me!”
Brothers and sisters we are living in one of the most intense seasons of my lifetime! Jesus said in the world 🌎 you will have tribulation, earthquakes and plagues. The Apostle Paul said: “ in the last days difficult times will come!” We need to remember that when things are intense in our personal worlds’ 🌎 that we shouldn’t lash out against one another! But…may need to listen for the DJ’s song 🎵 We are family…better yet Hezekiah Walker’s: I Need You To Survive! And Put A “Pause on It” grab a brother or sister and… Pray for one another encourage one another and buildup on another! “Put a pause on it” grab a hold of a family member and pray today!

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
