Hebrews 12:1

Hebrews 12:1

Hey Family,
Yesterday, I was busy in the kitchen cooking the surf and turf 🥩🦞birthday 🥳 🎂dinner, for my mother. Memories of Uncle Clarence doing his thing preparing a holiday lobster feast flowed through my mind as the scent of food filled the house. Uncle Clarence would always see that my Aunt Catherine made it to our house for whatever we were celebrating.
He would listen to the women chatter while he did his thing. Every visit, he would look at me and say “Ney (my nick name by him) how you doing? He’d give me that look and we would d talk. He demonstrated care and concern for his family.
I mention Uncle Clarence , because he has “gone before me”, as a member of that “great cloud ☁️ of witnesses. Cheering me on in the kitchen while I prepare a meal 👩🏾‍🍳to bless those I love and care for. The book of Hebrews speaks of “faithful ones” who were examples for us, of how we should run our race. Thank you Uncle Clarence for setting the pace.
Let us run 🏃🏾‍♀️ our race well today! stay in your lane in the race. Let the Holy Spirit set the pace until we see Him face to face!
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
Keep on running 🏃🏾‍♀️
