Isaiah 41:10

Isaiah 41:10

Two years ago today I was starting my rest and renewal summer trip. The first day I was a bit overwhelmed…but God showed up and strengthened my heart and mind. This is what happened…
Yesterday, after being a bit travel weary, because our shuttle bus driver dropped us off at “the wrong building” my friend and I pushed pulled and carried our luggage across a hot 🥵 parking lot.
My expectations and excitement were challenged with exasperation. I could feel the fumes of frustration rising in my heart and mind. I wish I could say I handled the situation with poise and grace. But…Today is a new day!
Everyday we have numerous opportunities to “stop…pause and pray! Now, I don’t mean to stop everything drop to your knees in the parking lot with your luggage and pray😳 (UNLESS you feel the need! )… I am continuing to learn, how to quiet my soul.
Even though this took place 2 years ago the message is the same. The Holy Spirit has been sent to internally lead and guide us daily as we experience “life circumstances”!
In the moment, breathe a prayer to the Lord, cast your cares on Him. He already knows your thoughts and is willing to carry your heavy luggage of exasperation and frustration.
Let the Lord lighten your load throughout the day filling you with peace and patience.
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
